Update of Direct Bank Communication with Treasury Intelligence Solutions (TIS) in SAP Business ByDesign
Background
Due to a domain change related to the solution of our partner TIS we need to update the Direct Bank Communication with Treasury Intelligence Solutions communication arrangement in SAP Business ByDesign. The URL defined in the communication arrangement needs to be changed. This change will be performed by SAP over the coming weeks before the upgrade to release 2208. This blog post provides further information about the upcoming changes.
Scope
You will be affected if either of the below scenarios are applicable to you:
- You have business option Payment Batch with Treasury Intelligence Solutions in scope.
- You activated business option Payment Batch with Treasury Intelligence Solutions before release 2208.
Impact
In case you get communication or technical errors when requesting bank statements or sending payment batches, you may be required to exchange the certificates between SAP Business ByDesign and TIS again. This should be conducted by your internal IT resources, with the new certificate information that could be found below.
Download Tenant Certificate
Below are the steps to download the tenant certificate:
- Kindly go to work center Application and User Management, open the Input and Output Management – Communication Arrangements view and select the Direct Bank Communication with Treasury Intelligence Solutions communication arrangement.
- Click on Download Tenant Certificate and save the certificate (file name extension “.CER”) to your hard drive.
- Select that file and either zip it or rename it to a .txt file.

For all the current port number is 8443. This needs to be changed to 443. As an example, the old and new URL will be:
