I am so excited to write this blog to provide the community a summary of how-to configuration videos on SAP S/4HANA Change Record cloud and on premise. You, our community have been asking us for this and we are pleased to finally share this with you.
We hope that this video series provides you the know-how insights on configuring a product change management process with SAP S/4HANA Cloud Change Record. And you can apply these insights to set up or even improve your own company’s product change management process and in return, enhancing your entire product lifecycle’s management (PLM) processes.
This was a huge collaboration across different units within SAP including consulting, product development and product management. And before we get into the details, a huge shout out Daniel Horstman who delivered this series in such an easy to consume and understandable way.
The configuration how-to video series consists of 4 categories:
You will understand how an example product change management process is run and get an overview of the configuration possibilities and the apps that are available in SAP S/4HANA Cloud for Change Record.
Get to know how basic configurations of S/4HANA Change Record including setting up the different change record types & items, enhancing the UI & fields and digital signatures.
3. Process & Collaboration
Understand what collaborations are possible for your product change management process and keep track of your change requests and change orders.
4. Process Routes
Here you can learn everything that evolves around process routes. This includes the process route templates, teams & responsibilities and business rules framework (BRF+).
