SAP & MHP America Inc. hosted the 1st EV Innovation Day at the Porsche Experience Center in Los Angeles

Last week MHP Americas, Inc., a global consultancy specializing in automotive, and SAP hosted a    group of innovative companies with a program and discussions focused on IT operations, customer experience, engineering, manufacturing and supply chain for the electric vehicle manufacturing and mobility companies.

The executive one-day immersive event featured a keynote by Volker Holzmeyer, President, and CEO of Porsche Motorsport North America, on how motor sports influences what we drive and how racing is shaping the future of electric vehicles.

This was followed by SAP’s point of view for Automotive on being an intelligent and sustainable enterprise. Covering the Automotive processes from R&D and engineering, manufacturing, supply chain, sales and marketing, and aftermarket services. And of course all things related to EV mobility, from fleet management to charge point operations to battery lifecycle management.

Then MHP experts let us on a set of round table discussions related to customer obsession and how it interconnects with engineering, supply chain and manufacturing.

Throughout the day there were amble opportunities for networking and connecting and as one participant stated our journey and solutions might differ, but our goal toward a sustainable future for the next generation is the same. 

And of course what would be a day of all work and no play! Thanks to our friends at the Porsche Experience Center the participants got to BUCKLE UP and feel the jolt of the electric Porsche Taycan in the passenger seat as a Porsche drive coach took them on a ride around the 1.3-mile handling circuit.
