Join us for the SAP Community Call about CATENA-X: Industry Network & Technology for a Data Driven Value Chain (June 23rd; 4:00pm CET)

Dear colleagues,

since it is just a few days ahead I again wanted to take the chance to make you aware of this upcoming SAP Community Call about:

Where as the automotive industry of the future uses a trustworthy, collaborative, open and secure data ecosystem.
All players are networked in end-to-end value chains, in which all partners are on an equal ground, have sovereign control over their data and no lock-in effects occur, which provides a sustainable solution for the digitalization of supply chains, especially for medium-sized and small companies, and supports the cooperation and collaboration of market participants and competitors.

The resulting data ecosystem builds a decentralized network with a virtual data space, which enables the data exchange between 2 or more parties in a self-sovereign, peer-to-peer fashion without the need of a central hub. Data owners who share data keep full data sovereignty, can thus certify the identity of the data consumer and control the terms and conditions under which their data is used by the data consumer. Based on the International Data Spaces standard (IDS), we plan to offer decentralized data space connectivity as part of the SAP Integration Suite to enable new and existing applications to join decentralized networks.
