The sustainability crisis is now coming into full view with the UN and EU agendas demanding climate action from all corporations. Utilities are at the forefront of decarbonization, and sustainability touches the whole value chain of Utilities in Energy and Water. In addition, SAP customer expectations towards sustainability are increasing.
That is the reason why embracing sustainability is the key success factor for future growth in the Utilities Industry and why this topic will be addressed during the International SAP Conference for Utilities from July 5-7, 2022 in Munich.
On the very first day we will have a panel discussion with Peter Maier, President SAP Industries & Customer Advisory, our new Global Vice President of the Industry Business Unit Utilities Daniela Sellmann, and our customers Katharina Klein from EnBW and Andy Brown from Anglian Water.
Watch the video with Andy Brown to hear more about Anglian Water’s sustainable business plan.
I will kick off a dedicated track on sustainability right after the morning break. In my presentation “Utilities Climate Action for Sustainability“, I will share the SAP vision and strategy for sustainability and the SAP core sustainability solutions for utilities.
Afterwards, you will hear in a case study how Coneva and SAP are working together to upgrade the infrastructure to help companies electrify their fleet, whilst utilizing decentralized renewable energy resources for charging. Don’t miss the opportunity to discover the latest developments in the SAP E-Mobility solution in our dedicated track session and at our exhibition. Read the customer story and get more insights about our SAP E-Mobility Solution on our website.
We are pleased to have Accenture and Elia in a customer panel discussing the “Zeroing in on Transmission and Distribution – How Can SAP Solution Accelerate the Energy Transition”.
At the exhibition, you can explore even more SAP solutions for sustainability, e.g. the SAP Sustainability Control Tower helps you to achieve your sustainable business ambitions with holistic enterprise-wide sustainability performance management. If you want to know more about it, come to the SAP booth, where we will be very happy to present it to you.
So there is a lot to learn about sustainability. I am looking forward to meeting you in Munich!
