Keep Track on Employee’s Mobility

Personal development, career management, professional expertise, employees mobility… decades ago one could hold the same position or role for… yes – literally decades! In the recent years frequent changes in work places and even changing position within given organization have become very common. People want and encouraged to develop, learn new skills and apply them in new roles, and many times moving to a different team or department within the company you are already in can be the new start you have been dreaming of. To support this trend, keep the important employment details and maintain transparency SAP Business One supports the change log for changes made in the “Membership” tab in Employee Master Data:

In our example, Maria, the accountant, just graduated successfully project management course as a step towards upcoming career change. The new role “Project Manager” is now added to her Employee Master Data record. The Change Log reveals the details of this change:
