Integration is usually the roadblock where every promising business transformation initiative stumbles sooner or later, usually leading to higher complexity and effort and lower quality, agility and reliability. In my view, this is often due to the fact integration is misunderstood as a “bottom-up” technology topic, rather than as one of the key pillars of business transformation.
At SAP, we have business processes in our DNA, and therefore we have an end-to-end integration strategy that covers and links both process integration and data integration, with the objective to support our customers implement effective business process improvement.
On January 27th, I’ll be covering these topics in a SAP Community Call, diving deeper on the data integration topic more specifically, explaining how we can streamline it leveraging the related services of the SAP Business Technology Platform, and SAP Data Intelligence Cloud in particular, how it fits into our end-to-end integration strategy, how it integrates with our existing on prem data management tools, and how we’re going to evolve it in the mid and long term.
Feel free to join and spread the word among your colleagues! We’re looking forward to a lively exchange, and we welcome readers to post their questions already if they have any.
