The ability to save drafts is re-assuring – you can always update it later, or delete if turns out that it is not required after all; you can leave room for changes – maybe the sales manager will approve higher discount? Or the item that is being delayed will be finally here and you’ll be able to ship the whole order together? Or maybe it is more convenient for the new employee who is still a bit insecure … Although document drafts are widely used, getting it done was not that obvious until … now! To increase efficiency and enhance usability of creating drafts, SAP Business One introduces a new button:
The button is available in documents where saving draft is supported. Choosing “Add Draft & New” saves the document draft and opens an empty form in Add mode for creating new document (same as the option “Save as Draft” in the context menu). Choosing “Add Draft & View” saves the document draft and displays it for your review. Your last choice in this button will appear by default the next time you open this document.
