Utilities Customers Exchange Experiences in the SAP S/4HANA Community Call

Have you already heard about the SAP S/4HANA Community Call. In this monthly meeting SAP utilities customers closely collaborate on their move to SAP S/4HANA.

SAP S/4HANA Evangelist Bhagya Subbareddy organizes this virtual monthly knowledge sharing and enablement session in collaboration with Marc Rosson, community champion and utilities customer. The next meet up is due to take place on August 10th with Duke Energy, last sessions speaker was Southwest Gas.

Many thanks to Marc Rosson from Snohomish County PUD and Bhagya Subbareddy from SAP for organizing this call. This is a great opportunity for our customers to learn from the experiences of your peers and to exchange information.

Any utilities customers interested in joining the group should send a request to SAPUtilitiesNews stating that you want to be part of this group. Please understand that only customers are allowed in this meeting!

During the International SAP Conference for Utilities, we also had a presentation about the four go-lives of SDGE, Southern California Edison, Duke Energy, and Southwest Gas in the US. The first three customers went live over the same weekend and Southwest Gas just a few weeks later. These utilities provide electricity and gas to nearly 10% of the U.S. population. To ensure a smooth transition, watch the following video to hear from Stefan Wolf and other SAP experts how SAP safeguarded these customers to ensure a smooth transition and ultimately ensured that the end customers were supplied reliably.
